BiCon is a volunteer run event. Every year a new Team take on the challenge. It seems like a daunting task. But with lots of experience in the community, new organisers can find people to ask for advice.

Also, there are the BiCon Organisers Guidelines, which describe what a BiCon should be and what the organisers are expected to do. These are discussed and altered and voted on each year during a session called the Decision Making Plenary.
