  1. Time to go home.

BiCon 2014 will be finishing at 3pm on Sunday the 3rd of August. We have to be out of the accommodation by 2pm.
We can continue to hang out on site, but we need to be gone by 5pm for the next conference to turn up.

  2. Leeds Pride Parade starts at 2pm (on the Sunday) in Leeds city centre. It would good to have a visible bisexual presence at the parade!

Would there be anywhere BiCon people could store luggage during the Pride march? I would like to go but will have too many bags to parade with!

    • No, there isn't anywhere to store bags while going to Pride. We have to return the room keys by 3pm (on pain of 50UKP per room!) and vacate the venue by 5pm as they have another conference coming in from then.

  4. I wrote already but we are The BiCast. A project sponsored by BiNetUSA. We only recently were able through fundraising come up with enough to buy our crew member Becca Tsarna a ticket to the event. We can't afford to cover her travel expenses as well. We are a podcast for the bisexual community based in Portland Oregon but Becca lives in the UK. We covered the BECAUSE conference both in interviews with Lauren Beach and Camille Holthous and through a scholarship was able to have Aud Traher be there as our representative. She interviewed Eponymous Fliponymous, Loraine Hutchins, ABilly Jones-Hennin and Dr. Herukhuti. We know it is very late but were hoping there might be a way she could cover the event by The BiCon community giving her a ticket. We will also be happy to feature the event and interview Jennifer and anyone else who needs to be. You can find us on the web and Facebook. http://www.thebicast.org We also posted videos of the interviews on our YouTube channel.

  5. I know there's no programme yet, but is there a rough idea of when things start / when we can get into accommodation on the Thursday? As I need to book passenger assistance for trains and the more notice that I can give them the better, but I have no idea what time I'm arriving in Leeds for yet.
    Thanks.

Official check in time for the Accommodation is 2pm, but the venue will be trying to have as many rooms as possible ready as early as possible, to coincide with BiCon opening our registration desk at 9am.
There will be a luggage store available for people who arrive before their rooms are ready, the venue appreciate that keeping it's use to a minimum is in everyone's interests.
      See you soon!
