Horsforth is on the Harrogate train line from Leeds to York. If you are coming from further afield you will need to change to this line at your connecting station. If you cannot see Horsforth listed on any of the screens, there are station staff who will direct you to the correct platform.

From Leeds train station to the university there is a taxi rank right outside the New Station Street exit of the train station. Alternatively it is an 8 minute walk to the 97 bus on Albion Street (Bus stop J3) and approximately 45 minutes straight to the university entrance. Finally, you could get the train from Leeds to Horsforth in about 15 minutes, however it is a 20-25 minute uphill walk to the university!

I am reliably informed by quite a few people that โ€˜Arrowโ€™ taxiโ€™s are the best to use in Horsforth. Their contact number is 0113 258 5888. After speaking to one of their managers, they have agreed to the reduced, fixed rates for anyone going to BiCon that they use for students at the university.

Whilst walking around, I thought the pavements were in pretty good condition and seemed very accessible. I know what it can be like to try to navigate a wheelchair on rubbish paths but this seemed like it would be alright.
