Why self-catering?

BiCon accommodation is self catering. This is because it enables us to eat the meals we want, prepared in a way we can be confident of, with ingredients we know about. Thus avoiding allergens and other no go foods. It is also much cheaper in terms of venue costs, making BiCon more affordable for all.

Accommodation blocks

We will be using the All Saints Court accommodation block at Leeds Trinity University. Pictures of Leeds Trinity University.

Don't be worried by the six storeys, there are lifts. If this is a worry, you can request a ground floor room.

If our booking numbers exceed this area we will also be using Trinity Close, a three minute walk away on a well-lit level tarmac footpath across the playing fields. Pictures of Trinity Close.

Types of rooms and flats

We are only offering ensuite rooms for our residential attendees. We went to see the standard accommodation and it had too many issues with lack of accessibility. So there is no risk that the people you ask to share with will be booked into the other type of accommodation, as there is only one.

The rooms are arranged into flats of six bedrooms to a well-equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs and sofa chairs sufficient for the residents.

Pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery are included. People who have been attending since 2008 will know this is a cause for celebration!
